In 2003, she traveled to Florence, Italy and attended Lorenzo de Medici School of Art, where she studied photography, drawing and restoration of frescoes. After graduating, Heather moved to Florida and started a business (www.heathersillusions.com) painting custom wall murals for commercial and residential clients. Along with her mural business, Heather is an instructor at the Prodigy Cultural Arts Program in Tampa, where she teaches visual art and music to youth aged 7-17. Heather's greatest passion is sharing the power of art and self-expression. She believes that through using the creative process of art one can enhance the physical, mental and emotional well-being of anyone, regardless of age. At is therapy; self-expression helps people resolve conflicts and problems, develop interpersonal skills, manage behavior, reduce stress, increase self-esteem and achieve insight.
